Terms and Conditions

The following is 808 Sports Leagues' policy for all tournaments, leagues, and special events we hold (collectively referred to in these terms as "events"), as well as payment terms. The terms “we”, “us” and “our” in these terms refer to 808 Sports Leagues. You must agree with all terms and conditions listed in order to participate in any of our events.

We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these terms by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued participation in our events constitutes acceptance of all current terms and conditions.

Registration and Payment Terms

All event registrations must be submitted electronically through our website. Verbal and handwritten/hardcopy registrations will not be accepted.

All event registrations are accepted without immediate payment. If the maximum number of team or player slots are exceeded for a particular event, teams and players will be accepted in order based on the date of payment submission, not the date of their registration form submission. Teams and players who miss out on a slot will be refunded according to our Refund/Cancellation Policy (see below).

Payment of all registration fees are due as listed in the registration confirmation email for the event. Registration fees paid by cash or check must be delivered to us by the due date listed in the registration confirmation email for the event. Additionally, check payments must clear by this date.

Individual/Small Group Registration Terms

Individual registrants are allowed to indicate friends that they would like to play with. We will make our best effort to honor these requests, however placement on the same team is not guaranteed.

Team Registration Terms

Team registrants are allowed to request the division (level of competitiveness) they would like to play in (if applicable for the event). We will make our best effort to honor these requests, but placement in the requested division is not guaranteed.

Corporate division teams are teams that are composed at least 75% of employees of one company. Teams that meet this requirement are guaranteed to be placed in our Corporate division, if the minimum number of registered teams for that division is met and the event includes a Corporate division.

Participation Terms

All players must be at least 21 years of age by the first day of the event they are registering for.

All players must abide by the Sportsmanlike Conduct standards outlined in the rules document for the event they are participating in.

All players must agree to and sign a waiver of liability form before playing in any event, which will be provided as a download from our website.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

Registration Fee Refunds

Full refunds will be given until two weeks before the start of the event, less any expenses already incurred such as shirt order and insurance costs. Within two weeks from the start of the event, no refunds will be given unless a replacement team/player can be found (either by us or by the refund requester). If a replacement team/player can be found, a full refund will be given, less any expenses already incurred such as shirt order and insurance costs. If a replacement team/player cannot be found, no refunds will be given. After the first day of the season, no refunds will be given. The first day of the event is the first day any team who is participating in the event plays a game, not the team or player requesting the refund. All dates will be listed in the registration confirmation email for the event.

Item Refunds (such as Kickball purchases)

No refunds will be given for item purchases. We will replace a defective item within two weeks from date of purchase. The purchaser must show a clear defect in materials or craftsmanship to receive a replacement item. Items damaged or destroyed due to normal use, or extraordinary environmental occurrences (such as getting run over by a vehicle, or impaled on a sharp object) will not be replaced or refunded.

Refunds will only be given via the same method as the original payment.
